This formula has the iron that babies need and contains easy-to-digest proteins. Fatty acids DHA and ARA promote healthy brain and eye development, and prebiotics support digestive health. GERBER GOOD START Gentle Powder is suitable for feeding babies from birth up to 12 months.

Only GERBER GOOD START infant formulas start with 100 percent whey protein, the highest-quality protein available in infant formula. These proteins are partially broken down into smaller pieces and are easy for your baby to digest.
May Provide Protective Benefits
GOOD START Gentle Formula is made with 100 percent whey proteins that are partially hydrolyzed.
For healthy infants who are not exclusively breastfed and who have a family history of allergy, feeding 100 percent whey-protein partially hydrolyzed infant formula from birth up to 4 months of age instead of a formula containing intact cow's milk proteins may reduce the risk of developing atopic dermatitis during the first year of life. The FDA has concluded that the relationship between 100 percent whey-protein partially hydrolyzed infant formulas and the reduced risk of atopic dermatitis is uncertain, because there is little scientific evidence for the relationship.
Partially hydrolyzed formulas should not be fed to infants who are allergic to milk or infants with existing milk allergy symptoms. If you suspect your baby is already allergic to milk, or if your baby is on a special formula for the treatment of allergy, your baby's care and feeding choices should be under a doctor's supervision.

This formula includes prebiotic Galactooligosaccharides (GOS). This prebiotic fiber is naturally occurring in breastmilk and can help support a baby's digestive health.

This powder comes in an EasyScoop plastic container that makes it easy to mix exactly the amount you need with no mess or waste. Simply add water according to the package directions, and you're ready to feed.

Cow's milk doesn't have the proper balance of nutrients -- such as the level of iron -- your baby needs for growth and development.
